BETA Habitat 2D is in beta. It is free for everybody while it is, and it may not always be free.

HOMES / TURFS

A door in the world that belongs to you

A turf is your own place inside Habitat 2D. Start with one room or rent a larger apartment, then turn the empty space into somewhere people remember.

01

Paint it. Place it. Change it again.

Choose wall colours, bring in scenery and arrange every object where you want it. A chair can be sat on. A chest can hold your collection. The things you find and buy in the shops can become part of your home.

Furniture can be glued in place, so a room you have arranged stays arranged.

Make more than a bedroom

one room, or ten

A turf can be a private retreat, a gallery of unusual objects, a meeting room, a tiny club, a shop concept or a setting for your own event. The tools are simple enough to use casually and open enough to reward imagination.

03

A home with an address

rent falls monthly

Turfs are connected to the rest of the world through the lobby lifts. They are rented with in-world tokens, taken from your bank each month, and they remain part of the shared world for as long as the lease is kept.

Your place is not a disposable screenshot. It is somewhere residents can return to. If rent does lapse, your belongings go into storage rather than the bin.

Tokens come from time spent in the world, not from a card.

Start with four walls. Add a reason to visit.
